Upon bringing Giselle into our life, from day one, it was clear that we had the well-bred, sophisticated, confirmation Papillon bitch we sought. From the outset, owing to the trials and travails that we endured to locate and bring her to America, my principal goal has been to lessen this hurdle for those who come later.
Giselle is an adorable and loving companion. She is an AKC American Grand Champion. Her dam is a multiple Grand Champion in German, Finland and throughout Europe. Her sire is a from Iceland. The breeding of these two Papillons has produced the desired offspring and introduces a fresh bloodline of high quality Papillons to the available population of the United States. Giselle has produced 2 AKC Champions with another on her way. She has produced 9 puppies.
Our breedings are carefully planned. The choice of sire has been one to improve on aspects of Giselle that could enjoy improvement. As one of my most trusted and accomplished trainer/handler friends says, “there are no perfect dogs.” We have identified sires of premier breeding and accomplishments who happen to blend well with Giselle’s personality and looks.
Each of our dogs in breeding have passed genetics tests recommended by OFA for Papillons which include eyes, bleeding diseases, patella luxation, heart tests. For example, PRA1 and NAD DNA tests, OFA BAER/BRIC, if indicated, VWD1 and Factor 7 Exams and both mates are free of all known and testable inherited diseases.
Each of our puppies have gone through Early Neuro Stimulation protocols (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), and desensitization training, and are raised using the protocols of “Puppy Culture.” All of this to ensure that our puppies have the best opportunity to have confidence, resilience and a good foundation to be a great pet for your family.
